Local producer Indian Ocean Fresh Australia (IOFA) has been named as a state winner in the 2020 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards for their locally grown Geraldton Kingfish.
The best producers in each state across Australia in Sea, Earth, Dairy and Paddock categories were announced this morning.
IOFA Director and owner Erica Starling was thrilled with being recognised by quality state judges and amongst other high calibre and hard working producers.
“This win is testament to all our team who contribute to growing our lovely Geraldton Kingfish,” Ms Starling said.
“It is also fantastic that there are four producers from Geraldton recognised in this category as it proves that seafood produce from this region continues to be of a very high standard”.
Geraldton kingfish was invited to enter the prestigious awards several months ago with judging by Jed Gerrard, Brendan Pratt, Melissa Palinkas and Santiago Fernandez.
Ms Starling thanked her team, customers and suppliers for their ongoing support of IOFA and Geraldton Kingfish.
